Buddhism is a way of finding peace within oneself. This religion helps us find the happiness and contentment we seek. Buddhist try to live in peace, try not to harm others, while they work towards their goal to reach Nirvana. In order to reach Nirvana, you must realize what suffering is and you must also give up all desires. Buddhism teaches that when a person dies they are reborn and the process consisting of death and rebirth will repeat itself until Nirvana is attained. Nirvana literally means “blown out” but is most commonly associated with Buddhism. In this context, Nirvana refers to the stillness of mind after the fires of desire, aversion, and delusion (Things that cause suffering) have been finally extinguished.
